The itch

Lighting architect Nikos Varopoulos trusted us to create a new brand to house his high-demand consulting and conceptual design work. The goal was to build a brand with its own strategy, name, and digital presence, freeing his award-winning studio, LUUN, to pivot toward a different area of lighting expertise in the future.

The scratch

Sharing a deep fascination with how light shapes mood and everyday life, we uncovered a simple truth: light isn’t just what you see—it changes how you see.

It’s the bridge between sight and insight.

We built the brand around the thinking behind the light, the vision and the spark before illumination. That led to the name IΔU, from the Greek ιδού (“behold”), a root closely tied to the origin of the word “idea.”

From there, “spark and focus” became our guiding concept, shaping a poetic yet practical brand narrative. In collaboration with Nowhere Studio, it evolved into an evocative visual identity and website, while director Gevi Dimitrakopoulou brought it to life through a dreamy launch film.

Together, we translated the language of light into a cohesive brand experience—clear in purpose, rich in emotion, and designed to remind us that light can bring focus back to what matters.
