Phagura
the curious minds society
Phagura (itch in Greek) is an independent side project of ITCH and Stav Papadaki. An experiment created by responsible adults with a very irresponsible urge: to free the kid inside them.
The kid who just wants to play without purpose, deadlines, or other adult, shitty concepts like perfection, right and wrong, good and bad. The kid who does things simply for the joy of it.
We believe those kids are still in there, waiting for a safe space in this mad world to come out.
So Phagura aims to become that space. A home for kidults with curious minds, open hearts, creative itches, existential crises, and the urge to feel truly connected (and maybe a little happier, too).
A society of Don Quixotes, people who feel too much and dream of a more tender, communal, inspired, and meaningful way of everyday living.
Phagura : the feeling we are still alive.
How does it work.
It doesn’t.
It simply exists and evolves organically, guided by intuition.
We’ll start by gathering in a cozy Athenian home, around a table or on the carpet.
Without internet.
With creators as hosts and creative people as guests who share the same phagura as we do.
We’ll read books, discuss, burn candles, brains, souls, bridges with the outside world for a couple of hours.
We’ll drink wine, coffee, tea, or milk with cookies, and write freely. With pencils. Again.
We’ll sniff the paper.
We’ll experiment with the texture of texts and words, while listening to vinyl records and playlists we’ve grown with.
And hopefully, through all this, we’ll create, connect, dream, and share.
Feelings.
Thoughts.
Selves.
Hopefully, we’ll become a parea of proud kidults.

Not really. We see it more as a parea, a growing circle of people who want to explore how creativity can become a place of joy and connection.
